Peggy Evans has been mediating since 1992 and became a professional member of CCMO/MAC since the beginning of this designation opportunity, in the 1990's.   She contracted with ODR in JD18, Arapahoe, Douglas, Elbert and Lincoln Counties in 1998-2001 when she left to manage FACE-to-FACE Mediation a community and restorative justice program in the 18th Judicial District.   In 2011 Peggy returned to ODR providing family, all domestic relations and county civil cases. She remains an ODR mediator and can therefore offer reduced rates for mediation.

Peggy mediates in the state court houses in Golden and Brighton and has mediation space in Centennial. She identifies most with the Transformative Mediation model which has a strong relationship, party empowerment, interest-based and collaborative emphasis. She is designated as a Collaborative Mediator through Phoenix Strategies, Inc. and is on their training team.

Peggy has a legislative appointment to Colorado's Restorative Justice Council. She also is the Director of the Restorative Mediation Project (RMP) which blends her Mediation and Restorative Justice passions. RMP's purpose is to move the RJ practices of victim offender dialogue into the civil arenas of personal injury and medical malpractice.

She partners with and promotes Rogelio Hernandez Flores, a bi-lingual mediator with over 15 years of certified court interpreting experience.

Her decades of mediation, facilitation and conflict expertise provides a strong basis for assisting people in all areas of conflict, particularly when they are motivated to move to a better place, Moving Forward with Clarity.
