Joshua Wohl is a skilled and experienced mediator, who brings his extensive knowledge of family law and his talents as a mediator and as a collaborative attorney to assist parties in resolving difficult family disputes.

Josh graduated with a BA from Rutgers University in 1998 and received his JD from New York University School of Law in 2001.  Since graduating, he has worked as a lawyer and mediator in Denver, and has focused his practice on family law. More specifically, his emphasis has always been on representing and protecting the interests of children.  Josh has worked with numerous clients in divorce and custody cases, as well as serving as a Guardian ad Litem for children in Dependency and Neglect (D&N) cases, as a Child and Family Investigator, and as a Parenting Coordinator/Decision Maker.  He has also represented parents in D&N cases, grandparents seeking visitation, and assisted families with adoptions.

Josh has now fully embraced the paradigm shift spoken of in Collaborative Law and has made the decision to move his practice away from litigation, to focus his talents and energies on helping families resolve family law disputes using methods other than litigation.  Josh believes that litigation should be a last-resort for most families.  Instead, Josh’s practice now consists of Collaborative Law representation, mediation, arbitration, and the representation of clients in divorce and post-decree cases as an unbundled settlement specialist.

Josh is a member of the Rocky Mountain Collaborative Law Practice Group and is on the Board of Directors of Colorado Collaborative Divorce Professionals.
