Kim has been a professional mediator since 2010. Kim started her divorce financial planning career in 2005 staring with her certification as a CDFA from the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts™. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from DeVry University, graduating cum laude, with honors, in Technical Management, emphasis in business and finance. Kim completed 40 hours training in the theory and practice of Mediation through Mares-Dixon & Associates as well as the Level 1 Collaborative training through The Colorado Collaborative Divorce Professionals. Kim is dedicated to helping those going through a divorce with minimal conflict and without expensive litigation. Kim has taken advance classes through the High Conflict Diversion Program out of San Diego, California, this program provides tools for parents who share parenting time with a difficult ex-spouse. Kim's training includes advanced classes through the Colorado Family Bar Association in parenting plans, the financial aspects, along with disputed resolution involving divorce. Her skills include helping couples communicate effectively in a highly emotional atmosphere. Kim's approach is to help individuals and couples problem solve complex issues with dignity and respect.
