I specialize in designing systems for managing complex, intractable conflicts and negotiation strategy. After working for years as a researcher with Harvard Business School's Negotiation, Organizations, and Markets unit, I returned to Colorado and co-founded the Center for Negotiation and Conflict Management (CNCM). I have co-authored several Harvard Business School (HBS) cases on negotiated settlements that are used to teach negotiation to MBAs, law students, and corporate executives across Harvard.
I received an MS in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from Columbia University, an MA from the University of Heidelberg in Germany, and a BA from the University of Nebraska. My 40-hour mediation training was completed through MWI in Boston.
